Septima P. Clark Academy (Clark) is a unique program within the Charleston County School District (CCSD) designed to help at-risk students earn the credits they need to receive a South Carolina high school diploma. In addition to core academic classes in math, English, social studies and science, Clark offers a wide variety of electives, credit recovery classes and acceleration opportunities.

The faculty and staff of Clark are difference-makers in the lives of our students. They are not only accomplished in their academic disciplines, but they are committed to helping students overcome the challenges that have led to problems in their previous schools. With a range of new and veteran faculty and staff, all students are able to find role models and mentors who will help them navigate the last semesters of high school.
